Spring Break...sooo great!

We started spring break with the traditional activities....we jumped on the bed, ran errands around town, played dollys, practiced writing on letter cards, etc.

Then came time for the really fun stuff! We had a playdate with Thomas at Monkey Joes. Too busy chasing and jumping to get any other pictures. Then it was off to Chickfila for lunch and home for naps. :)

The next day we went to the local Wildlife Preserve to see their Zoo. Kate's school was still opened and since I hate for her to miss out on the learning we kept with the week's theme of the letter Z. Z for Zoo & Z for Zebra! :)

Amazing how close we could get to the animals there. Here are a few of Kate's favorites, although the turkey scared her the most! :) I pet and feed the Zebra! Kate was a little nervous and would only feed the bunnies. :)

To end the week we went to Baytown Warf in Sandestin. I loved this quote from Mark Twain, so true for Kate... :)

Poor thing had to wait for mommy and papi to set up our blanket and chairs. Such a good listener. :)

And we decided that it was a great trip when Kate could fall asleep with the lights on AND tv on, all within seconds of putting on her jammies.
